Becoming a college golf player is a long process that can start as early as 8th grade. However, even late bloomers can find college golf opportunities.
There are many steps and having a clear timeline is critical. Only you know your priorities in selecting a college. Your decision will likely include academics, size, location, scholarship, cost and of course the golf program and the team. College Golf Drive will help you rationalize and prioritize these criteria, and take the right steps to maximize your chances to be recruited.

This is an Optimist local qualifier for the Optimist District on June 15-15th at Twin Lakes Golf Cub.
Local QUALIFYING CRITERIA TO ADVANCE to the Optimist District are the following:
*BOYS 15-18: a score of 84 or under *GIRLS 15-18: a score of 90 or under
*BOYS 11-14: a score of 94 or under *GIRLS 11-14: a score of 96 or under
Golfers who are 10 or 9 years old as of July 18, 2021, may "play up" into the boys 11-14 or Girls 11-14 division.
Golfers who make the cut will be notified by e-mail after the tournament. The Optimist District will be held at Twin Lakes on June 14-15th and is an event that fills up quickly, if you qualify and wish to participate, it is recommended that you send an e-mail to our marketing marketing@top50jrtour.com, ASAP.
If you will qualify at the Optimist District qualifier you will be able to participate in the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at Trump National Doral, Miami, Florida.
Top 50 Junior golf tour will host another tournament on Sept. 12th at Pontiac Country Club again. The September tournament will also be a Qualifier for the IMG ACADEMY JUNIOR WORLD FLORIDA CHALLENGE. Remember to play this course also in the fall.
2023 EXEMPTIONS!
Tournament Champion (in each division) earns an exemption to play the next tournament FREE!
Top 3 in each division earn an invitation to play at the championship of their choice!
You may choose from three championships on the 2023 schedule! The Top 50 Midwest Junior Championship at TreeTops Resort July 1-2nd in Gaylord, MI, The Tour Championship at Michigan State University or the National Championship at Hawks Landing in Orlando Florida, December ( Dates to be confirmed).
1st place winner (when there is 5 or more players in the division) will get a FREE entry, 2nd and 3rd place receive discounted entry invitations into one championship.
