G.R.I.P. Academy
(Golfer Rapid Improvement Program)
proudly presented by
The National Golf Scholarship Association

The National Golf Scholarship Association is proud to recommend and provide continued support for the G.R.I.P Academy now in its third year of producing quality student golfers, both male and female. "The results have been measurable and in many cases tremendous".

Junior Golf Academy (G.R.I.P.)

The G.R.I.P. Junior Golf Academy is a serious game improvement program designed to enhance a student's fundamentals. G.R.I.P. is a 10-week program that includes five hours of private golf lessons with a highly qualified PGA Golf Professional. This comprehensive golf instruction program was designed by a PGA Golf Professional with nearly 20 years of golf instruction experience and knowledge, and currently the Tour Director for the Midwest Top50jrTour.

The G.R.I.P. Junior Golf Academy provides students with...
1. 5 hours of private "one-on-one" golf lessons with a PGA Golf Instructor.
2. 20 practice sessions including an estimated 10 hours of practice time (indoor or outdoor).
3. G.R.I.P. Student Training Manual - which includes illustrated swing drills, isolated exercise recommendations, course management techniques, and student golf diary to record progress.
4. Swing improvement techniques, that are specific to their swing. Students will also learn how to practice more effectively, and will be motivated to play and practice between lessons; all within the framework provided by the instructor.(This is not a group camp, G.R.I.P. is individual student training).

Academy Note:
Video and other teaching equipment are included in all instruction when the instructor feels it will assist the student. Teaching and practice materials will be provided at the beginning of the program. Winter and summer programs vary, ask for details. (Students are encouraged to bring a DVD to each lesson to copy and evaluate swing progress).

Enrollment:
Students may enroll for the G.R.I.P. at any of the following quality Top50jrTour Training Facilities: Oasis Golf Center in Plymouth, Fox Hills Golf Club in Plymouth, King Par Golf in Flushing, or Mines Golf Academy in Grand Rapids. Student Testimonials:

Milford Student(Male): The combination of lessons, practicing, and Top50jrTour competition has made my game improve rapidly. The structure and feedback of the GRIP lessons was very helpful.

Hartland Student (Male): I have never had a coach work on my mental game and Dan's unique approach has made a significant improvement in my course management and mental awareness while playing.

Livonia Student (Male): I remember shooting in the 100's when I took my first lessons with you in eighth grade. After a summer of lessons you helped me lower my average score into the upper 80's and make the varsity golf team as a freshman. Thanks for everything!

CC Student (Female): I have taken golf lessons with Mr. Thomas for the past three years. I recently graduated from high school and now play golf for Boston University. Thank you Mr. Thomas.

Lake Orion Student (Female): You have taught me so much. Swing lessons, mental lessons, how to practice, swing drills, how to think and manage the course. Thank you.

Allen Park Student (Female): It is amazing how Dan can pick up on little changes that need to be made and how great a difference it made when I hit the ball. Dealing with the mental aspect of the game is another area that Dan has worked with me and it has helped me especially during tournament play. Dan is an awesome Coach!

Parent Testimonials:

Canton Parent: My son Andrew was shooting 100+ as an eighth grader. In six short months you significantly improved my son's golfing ability. He now plays on the high school golf team as a freshman. Thanks Dan.

CC Parent: My daughter has enjoyed having you as her golf coach. You have built her swing during her high school career and now she is playing for an out of state University. We both thank you.

Farmington Hills Parent: You are the best. My husband and I are grateful for everything you have done as a "m's" coach. Her high school didn't even have a girl's golf team. With your coaching and influence she is able to play with another local high school team. Thanks Dan.
