Together, We are Creating Opportunities for American Students

The National Golf Scholarship Association
is proud to announce the

GPA Challenge

We believe that the golf course is a great place for young people to learn the values of respect, integrity and responsibility. We feel that individuals who exhibit these qualities on the golf course will carry these attributes over into their educational and professional careers. The NGSA continues to sponsor golf programs that enhance personal knowledge and achievement through junior golf.

The NGSA is awarding Members of the Top50jrTour additional scholarship points for demonstrating academic improvement & excellence.

In addition to the scholarship points students earn while participating in Top50jrTour activities, student may now earn scholarship points by simply submitting their report cards and entering the GPA Challenge.

Scholarship points will be awarded to:

  • The 5 highest cumulative GPA scores in each TourZone. (Juniors & Seniors Only)
  • The 5 most improved cumulative GPA scores in each TourZone. (Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors Only)

Students that wish to participate in the “highest cumulative” GPA Challenge must submit a copy of their final report card at the conclusion of the school year and prior to June 30th each year. Students that wish to participate in the “most improved” GPA Challenge must submit a copy of their final report card for the last two years prior to June 30th each year. (Submit to: NGSA, 1135 Elk Run, Howell, Michigan 48843).

Recognition of each student's academic achievement will be acknowledged on the Top50jrTour website and at the 2008 Top50jrTour Midwest Junior Championship.
