Girls Only Spring Golf Tour

The Top50jrTour continues to create new and exciting golf opportunities for Michigan students. Starting in spring of 2008 we are introducing a unique program for “girls only” to learn, train, and enjoy the game of golf with your friends.

The National Golf Scholarship Association in cooperation with the Michigan Top50jrTour and local PGA Golf Professionals, are combining resources in this initiative to provide Michigan female student golfers with a friendly environment to learn together, practice together, and compete together. Introducing the Top50 Team Building Tour. (Girls Only Spring Tour)

spring Event schedule & format:

May 10, 2008  Reddeman Farms Golf Club, Chelsea , Michigan ($55.00)

 

11:30am to 12:30pm - Personal Training & Practice (PGA Instructor available for questions)

 

12:30pm - Tee Times Start

 

Lunch Included at the turn

Fees & Rules:

  • Spring tournaments are limited to 50 players, first come first serve basis.
  • 2008 Top50jrTour Membership Fee is $75. The entry fee per event is $55. Open to "girls only."
  • The membership fee allows students to participate in all 2008 scheduled events throughout the spring and summer Top50jrTour seasons.
  • Any student between the age of 12 and 18 is eligible to play with the Top50jrTour. There are two divisions for spring tournaments, Girls 15 & younger / Girls 16 & older.
  • Spring events include golf instruction and training along with tournament competitioni. Students are not required to participate in all the activites however the fees are all inclusive.

Caddies and Spectators

We encourage parent participation and welcome parents to caddie. However, if you are a caddie you must carry the golf clubs and all USGA rules regarding the player’s equipment and caddie apply. If you are a spectator you must not communicate with the player in a way that assists in playing decisions. You are either a caddie or a spectator; you can't be both.

Awards & Scholarship Points

Trophies and medals are awarded to the top finishers in each age division. Scholarship points will be awarded based upon participation.
